San Juan Capistrano, CA – March 6, 2012 – Predixion Software introduced today Predixion Insight™ 2.2, a new release of the company’s flagship collaborative predictive analytics solution that fully supports Microsoft Corp.’s just announced SQL Server 2012 and PowerPivot 2012. Predixion Insight 2.2 provides business intelligence (BI) professionals with easy-to-deploy, enterprise class predictive analytics in the familiar interfaces of Microsoft Excel 2010 and SharePoint 2007 and 2010.
Predixion has created Excel-based modeling solutions and a deployment framework designed to simplify the process of sharing models across an enterprise, automate predictions directly from source data to SharePoint dashboards and other portals or business applications, and squeeze complexity out of the end user experience, resulting in self-service predictive analytics.
The end-to-end collaborative features in Predixion Insight 2.2 allow users to share models, datasets and results, as well as set permissions for shared items by simply sending them to other users or setting up “collections” to which multiple users subscribe. Users can then comment on items within the collection, score models with new or existing data, share the results within the collection or publish them into SharePoint or other portals for a truly collaborative experience. Predixion Insight 2.2 is available as an off-site public and private cloud offering, as well as an on-premise solution for organizations such as healthcare and financial services firms who require it.
