While attempting to install Predixion Insight Developer Edition I am getting an error message.
    The banner reads:
    C:WINDOWSsystem32WindowsPowerShellv1.0powershell.exe

    The window reads:
Missing expression after unary operator ‘-‘.
    At line:1 char:2
    + -E <<<< xecutionPolicy Bypass -File C:Documents and SettingsRMutarelliLocal SettingsTempTemporary Directory 3 for PredixionInsightDeveloperEdition.zip
    PredixionInsightDeveloperEditionPXServerSetup.ps1
PS C:Documents and SettingsRMutarelliLocal SettingsTempTemporary Directory 3 for PredixionInsightDeveloperEdition.zipPredixionInsightDeveloperEdition>

Did I miss a pre-req? Any ideas what might cause this?

    Hi Robert!

Can you give us more details? What version of Windows and PowerShell are you running on? Can you try to run “set-executionpolicy remotesigned” from PowerShell as an admin? What version of the Dot Net Framework do you have installed?

Also can you try to download the installation package again from here: http://www.predixionsoftware.com/Po…ition.zip.

Last, can you confirm that the machine you are trying to install on has all of the necessary requirements listed here https://predixionsoftware.com/Help/Requirements.html?

    Thank you very much!

    Hi Robert!

Thanks for posting! You did mention in a different interaction that this issue is resolved and it was due to an older version of Windows XP. In summary, the issue you were encountering was caused by an older version of PowerShell that didn’t support the dependencies that we require. The result of that was a PowerShell parsing error. Here is a link to our system requirements. Unfortunately Windows XP is not supported.

Please confirm if you are not up and running with Predixion Insight.

    Thank you very much!
