New Zealand's Kiwibank selects Predixion Insight™ to quickly deploy
predictive analytics initiatives to proactively exceed customer needs and expectations.
Orange County, CA – June 21, 2011 –Predixion Software, a provider of collaborative predictive analytics solutions that are fully integrated with Microsoft Corp.'s business intelligence (BI) platform, today announced it has expanded its sales and support presence with the opening of its Asia Pacific operations to be headed by David Runacres, who has a successful 25-year career in the Asia-Pacific region building and driving high-performance sales organizations.
Since moving to Hong Kong in 1987, Runacres has worked in senior sales management roles for Sequent Computer Systems, Business Objects, Cognos, Thomson Financial and Sungard Financial Systems. At Sequent, Runacres was instrumental in building the Korean and Chinese businesses into top 10 performing countries globally for the company. During his tenure at Cognos, he was responsible for opening new businesses in Taiwan, India, Malaysia and Korea, and driving the Chinese business up to the acquisition of the distribution partner. While at Thomson Financial, Runacres focused on building the Asia-Pacific sales region into the main driver of company growth.
“My extensive background and contacts with Business Objects and Cognos—which also focused on turning data into information—will be key to quickly growing Predixion Software's presence in this region,” said Runacres, who will run Predixion Software's Asia Pacific operations out of Hong Kong and will seek to leverage a large network of consulting and business partner opportunities. “Economies are growing here—large parts of the Asia-Pacific region have sidestepped the world's economic issues—and I look forward to marketing Predixion's predictive analytics solutions to this rapidly emerging and influential marketplace. We are pleased to announce our first Asia-Pacific customer win and look forward to announcing many more in the near future as the demand for predictive analytics solutions here is significant,” Runacres said.
