Simon Arkell
CEO |
Simon Arkell is an experienced technology entrepreneur and executive with extensive global technology management experience. Before co-founding Predixion, Simon was an operating partner with Triton Pacific Capital Partners, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm working with Triton’s software portfolio companies on strategic development and acquisitions. Prior to Triton Pacific he served as President of a 600-employee, 10-country software consulting firm based in the UK which developed Oracle solutions.
Earlier Simon was a Principal with Gramercy Venture Advisors, an international boutique investment banking firm with offices in the US, Australia, China and Europe where he assisted over 20 enterprise software and mobility companies with VC fundraising, M&A, and US market-entry strategies.
In 1998 Simon co-founded Versifi Technologies, Inc. in Newport Beach, California, an enterprise content management software company which raised two rounds of venture capital before being sold to Reef SA (Belgium). While at Versifi, Simon led the acquisition of AdaptiveInfo, a predictive analytics software vendor in Southern California which developed predictive mobile content delivery solutions for publishers.
Simon holds an MBA from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of New Mexico, and he was a two-time Olympian and Commonwealth Champion (pole vault) for Australia. Simon is also involved in a number of community outreach initiatives. He is a pole vault coach at Saddleback College where he trains and mentors a number of aspiring Olympians and serves as program chairman for Megan’s Wings – a local charity that provides assistance to families with children fighting cancer.

Steve DeSantis
CFO |
Steve has over 20 years of financial management experience in both the private and public sectors. Prior to co-founding Predixion, he served as CFO of DATAllegro where he was responsible for the finance, accounting, human resources, and IT departments. He also led business planning and budgeting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and was a key member of the executive team that successfully sold to Microsoft for $275 million.
Steve acquired his public accounting experience with Coopers & Lybrand in Los Angeles. He spent the past 14 years leading venture-backed enterprise software companies as Chief Financial Officer. Most notably was TCI Solutions, an application software company providing software and services to the retail industry. During his tenure, the business grew by 640%, he successfully raised several rounds of venture capital financings, took the company public as a reporting company under regulation D, and sold the business at a premium to Retalix.
Steve is a certified public accountant, holds a bachelor’s degree in business and an MBA from the University of Southern California.

Jamie MacLennan
CTO |
Jamie MacLennan has 18 years of experience in professional software development, including 10 years with Microsoft Corporation. Prior to joining Predixion Jamie directed the development of the current generation of Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services, from handwriting the core class architecture to managing, growing and nurturing a team of over 30 world-class developers through multiple release cycles of increasing capabilities and quality. During his 10 years at Microsoft, he designed and implemented SQL Server’s data mining functionality in collaboration with Microsoft Research resulting in 27 patents and patents pending across five product releases.
Jamie is a sought-out and invited speaker at user and partner conferences worldwide, and has written numerous papers and articles about SQL Server Data Mining including two published books that are used heavily in both industry and academia. Prior to joining Microsoft, Jamie ran a development team for Landmark Graphics, Inc. (division of Halliburton) creating cross-platform oil & gas exploration software and at Micrografx, Inc. creating flowcharting and presentation graphics software which has evolved into the iGrafx line of products.
Jamie earned a bachelor of science degree in computer science from Cornell University.

Bogdan Crivat, PhD
VP of Engineering |
Dr. Bogdan Crivat has deep experience in software development, including 10 years with Microsoft Corporation. As vice president of engineering at Predixion, Dr. Crivat leads the design and development of the company's public and private cloud platforms.
Prior to joining Predixion Software Dr. Crivat worked on web development technologies and in the Analysis Services group at Microsoft as one of the key contributors to the SQL Server Data Mining technology and a co-inventor for the PowerPivot in-memory data storage technology (Vertipaq).
A native of Romania, he received his bachelor degree in computer science from University of Bucharest and his PhD in computer science from University Transilvania of Brasov. Dr. Crivat holds 13 patents (and a number of pending applications), most of them related to data mining and predictive analytics.

Michael Hollenbeck
VP of Healthcare Solutions |
Michael Hollenbeck is a passionate entrepreneur and seasoned advocate of emerging technologies with disruptive market potential. He is responsible for accelerating the adoption of prospective analysis and data mining technologies within American healthcare companies for Predixion Software. Michael has more than 15 years of experience in start-up environments with a series of successful early stage technology companies. Prior to Predixion, Michael led WhiteCloud Analytics’ efforts to apply advanced analytic and business intelligence technologies to prepare healthcare companies for the many challenges presented by the evolving healthcare market.
Earlier in his career Michael led the deployment of analytic and performance management solutions for ProClarity to more than 40 healthcare payer and provider organizations in the U.S. leading up to the acquisition of ProClarity by Microsoft Corp. During his post-acquisition tenure at Microsoft, Michael’s management responsibility grew to include healthcare payer and provider customers both in the U.S. and Canada.
Michael holds a B.A. of Finance from Boise State University.

Mark McNally

Mark McNally is an accomplished executive with broad-based experience scaling companies from startup through multinational establishment. He joined Predixion Software to lead alliances, strategy, and business development, oversee strategic partnerships and identify new growth opportunities.
Mark’s career includes impressive results as a visionary tech innovator, global business veteran and results oriented operations executive. As a senior founding executive of PurchasePro.com, an early innovator in B2B e-commerce, Mark successfully developed multi-million dollar strategic alliances with numerous fortune 1000 Companies, led product development and was an integral part of its management team that grew the company from startup through the 3rd most successful IPO of 1999. As CEO of a Global Sourcing firm Mark led negotiations with international vendors from China to Pakistan and established a company with offices worldwide. As COO of Delivery Agent, he led business management functions of the world’s leading entertainment e-commerce company managing many of the world’s leading studios and networks and their e-commerce environments. As Chief Innovation Officer at Good360, Mark developed the world’s largest non-profit e-commerce marketplace helping to distribute hundreds of millions of dollars of hard goods annually from corporate America to tens of thousands of global charities.
Mark is a veteran of the US Army where he served as a paratrooper and non-commissioned officer in psychological operations units.

Dr. Michael Mercy

Dr. Mercy earned his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and served as Chief Resident of the Emergency Department. He later served as Medical Director and Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho.
Dr. Mercy serves on the Board of Directors for the Ada County Medical Society and Reed College in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Mercy is a past Board Member for Albertson College and the Idaho Black History Museum and is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Washington. He was also a partner in Idaho Emergency Physicians and worked for Emergency Medicine of Idaho, practicing fulltime at St. Lukes Wood River Medical Center.
Dr. Mercy was recently accepted into the Executive MBA program at Boise State University and works locum tenums in a number of hospitals in Idaho. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Executives (FAAPE) as well as a Fellow of American College of Emergency Physicians.
