Stuart is a highly successful, serial high-tech entrepreneur with more than 20 years' experience in the technology market. Stuart was
General Manager of Strategy for the Database Systems Group of Microsoft for two years following the acquisition of DATAllegro in
August of 2008. Stuart founded DATAllegro in June of 2003, and was its CEO through to the acquisition. Prior to the DATAllegro exit,
Stuart was founder and CEO of SELECT Software Tools. Founding SELECT in 1988, he led the company through rapid growth and expansion
including a very successful IPO in 1996.
Stuart has a degree in Electronics Engineering from Nottingham University in England and began his career in 1983 as a programmer and
Co-Founder & CEO, Predixion Software
Simon is an experienced technology entrepreneur and executive with extensive global technology management experience.
Before co-founding Predixion, Simon was an operating partner with Triton Pacific Capital Partners, a Los Angeles-based private
equity firm working with Triton’s software portfolio companies on strategic development and acquisitions. Prior to Triton Pacific
he served as President of a 600-employee, 10-country software consulting firm based in the UK which developed Oracle solutions.
Earlier Simon was a Principal with Gramercy Venture Advisors, an international boutique investment banking firm with offices in
the US, Australia, China and Europe where he assisted over 20 enterprise software and mobility companies with VC fundraising, M&A,
and US market-entry strategies. In 1998 Simon co-founded Versifi Technologies, Inc. in Newport Beach, California, an enterprise
content management software company which raised two rounds of venture capital before being sold to Reef SA (Belgium). While at
Versifi, Simon led the acquisition of AdaptiveInfo, a predictive analytics software vendor in Southern California which developed
predictive mobile content delivery solutions for publishers.
Simon holds an MBA from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of New Mexico, and he was a
two-time Olympian and Commonwealth Champion (pole vault) for Australia. Simon is also involved in a number of community outreach
initiatives. He is a pole vault coach at Saddleback College where he trains and mentors a number of aspiring Olympians and serves
as program chairman for Megan’s Wings – a local charity that provides assistance to families with children fighting cancer.
Partner, Toba Capital
Mike is a Partner with Toba Capital, a venture capital firm with unique operational experience in business applications and IT.
Mike worked for 13 years at Quest Software where he was most recently Managing Director of Corporate Development. He was responsible
for more than 30 enterprise software acquisitions and investments. Prior to that, Mike was General Manager of Quest's Virtualization
Management Business Unit, a $50M standalone business. Mike cut his teeth in software sales and sales management at Quest, BMC Software,
Patrol Software and Oracle.
Mike is currently a director for Predixion Software, Protean, Mascot Secret, Parsec Labs, Cirro and Traumasoft. He earned an MBA from
Indiana University's Kelley School of Business and a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan. Mike was commissioned in
the U.S. Army in 1987 and served as a reserve officer in the Army's Ordnance Corps.
Managing Director, DFJ Frontier
Frank is a Managing Director of DFJ Frontier, a Draper Fisher Jurvetson affiliated venture capital fund with $80M under management focused on seed and early stage technology companies on the west coast. DFJ Frontier is a member of the DFJ Global Network which is a network of 16 venture funds across four continents with over $7 billion in assets and more than 500 active venture-backed portfolio companies. Frank also manages the Gideon Hixon Fund, the venture capital investment vehicle for the Hixon Family. The group's venture capital investments include Apple Computer and Dell as well as more recent successes including CORSolutions (acquired by Matria), Sensitech (acquired by Carrier), Medior (acquired by AOL), Security Dynamics (acquired by RSA), WebCal (acquired by Yahoo) and Xiotech (acquired by Seagate). Prior to that, he was a General Partner of Allen & Buckeridge PTY LTD, a leading Australian venture capital firm with approximately A$250 million under management. At Allen & Buckeridge he led investment efforts into Hitwise (acquired by Experian), eKit (acquired by Jersey Telecom), Wishlist (acquired by Qantas) and Next Generation Entertainment.
Frank also has extensive operational experience through his roles at Virtual Music Entertainment (acquired by NAMCO), Contexture Systems and Prophecy Development Corporation. More recently, he acted as the CEO and Executive Chairman of Prolacta Bioscience, leading the company through its successful turn around and funding. Previously, he acted as an executive director for YellowPages.com where he helped guide the company through its successful sale to SBC Communications (NYSE: SBC) and Bell South (NYSE: BLS) in November 2004. He was also a director of Cogent Data technologies through its successful sale to Adaptec Inc (NASDAQ: ADPT) in June 1996.
Frank is currently a director of Prolacta Bioscience, HydraDx (Chairman), Hixon Properties, DX Biosciences, Marval Biosciences, Buyology, Predixion Software, Swink (Chairman) and Zadspace (Chairman). He also serves as a venture partner for Southern Cross Venture Partners a $150M international venture capital fund focused on bringing Australia/NZ technology to the US. He is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of the Cancer Center of Santa Barbara and the Pacer Foundation.
Frank received his MBA from The Harvard Business School and a BA cum laude from Harvard University. He regularly presents and teaches classes in entrepreneurship and family business at UCSB, Cal Poly, Stanford GSB and Portland State University.
Managing Director, Miramar Venture Partners
Bob is a Managing Director and co-founder of Miramar Venture Partners. Formed in 2001, Miramar invests in early- and mid-stage technology companies, with an emphasis on Southern California opportunities. Currently Miramar focuses on core technology sectors of Cloud Computing, Storage, Digital Media and Medical IT.
Bob has spent his career building technology companies in the healthcare and information technology markets. He has served in diverse roles, from software engineer at Hughes Aircraft to senior executive roles at technology and life sciences companies to venture investor. Currently, Bob serves on the Boards of the following Miramar portfolio companies: Matrix Sensors and Predixion Software. Past Miramar portfolio company Board memberships include Fastsoft (acquired by Akamai) and SiliconSystems (acquired by Western Digital Corporation). Bob also serves on the Board of the San Diego Venture Group.
In addition to Miramar, Bob is an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship in the Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at USC’s Marshall School of Business. He teaches “Investing in New Ventures,” a second-year MBA course, each semester. Bob received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 1985, serving as an officer of the national engineering honor society at Stanford. He received his J.D. from UC Berkeley in 1989.
Executive Chairman, Good Technology
King R. Lee is the Executive Chairman of Good Technology and has served as a member of the board since 2003. From mid-2010 until early
2013 he served as President and CEO of Good, where he implemented operational efficiencies and product direction to solidify the
company as a leader in the enterprise mobility market.
King has spent over twenty years helping companies transition to high growth across several industries at the request of investors and
boards of directors. During that period, he served as President and CEO of Quarterdeck Corporation, a leading developer of PC software,
successfully driving Quarterdeck's worldwide operations and increasing the company's market cap from approximately $50 million to over
$800 million. He later led its successful sale to Symantec (NASDAQ:SYMC). During the same period he also co-founded and served as the
CEO of Wynd Communications, a pioneer in wireless email tailored for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. It was subsequently sold
to Purple Communications (NASDAQ:PRPL) and became the primary business of the acquiring company. Earlier, he served as CEO and president
of the XTree Company, a publisher of file management and network software products which was ultimately sold to Central Point Software
Systems Inc. and later rolled into Symantec.
Along with his experience in the various technology industries, King brings a successful background in the highly competitive consumer
market, where he held management positions with General Mills, Inc. and Lever Brothers, Inc.
Partner, Palomar Ventures
Bob is a Partner at Palomar Ventures with over 40 years of executive management and venture capital experience. Prior to joining
Palomar, Bob was a founding partner of BA Ventures, (now Scale Partners). While at BAVP, Bob took an active role in Cogency Software,
INNOVION, Prolinx, SpeechWorks, Synthon, and VNUS Medical. Over the years Bob led numerous successful ventures including Aurum/BAAN,
XLNT/Intel, NetDialog/KANA, Mixed Signals/Tektronix, and Ravenflow/Versata.
Earlier in his career, Bob held several senior management operating positions with technology based software and service companies.
From 1987 to 1994, Bob was President and CEO of two software application companies, Computerized Lodging Systems, Inc., and Command
Bob earned his CPA while working with Arthur Young and Company after graduating from Seton Hall University.
Managing Partner, Triton Pacific Capital Partners
Fred is Managing Partner, Triton Pacific Capital Partners for the Software/Information Technology Group. Fred brings over
25 years’ experience managing software and technology companies for rapid growth in both revenue and shareholder value. Prior to
joining Triton Pacific, Fred was CEO of several companies including GameSpy Industries, a leader in on-line media, where Fred
dramatically grew revenues and then sold the company to a strategic acquirer at industry leading multiples in under twelve months
and Lantronix, a leader in device networking and systems management technology, where Fred repositioned the company, doubled revenues
in four years, acquired and integrated four companies and successfully raised over $120 million through an IPO and follow-on secondary
offering. Fred has extensive experience in the marketing and sales of mission critical applications in the financial services,
healthcare, manufacturing, food processing and oil and gas exploration industries.
Fred attended the Stockholm School of Economics. Fred is fluent in English, Spanish, Swedish and French.
